Hello there!
Is there something you have always known you wanted to do? When I was a growing up there was only career which stood out to me. Even though I loved playing soccer and could do that every day (even now), I never dreamed of being a professional athlete.
Instead, I wanted to be a lawyer!
Maybe it was the shows I was watching. After all, my favorites were shows like Perry Mason and Matlock. I loved the seersucker suits and southern drawls so when it was on (ah, network/cable television!) I would watch it with so much excitement. I really wanted to also watch LA Law but my mom would not let me- I guess there was a lot more than just “lawyering” going on!
So, I reached my goal and loved it. It was a proud moment, and season to be in. Then I decided to go for another! My work overlapped often with Real Estate so I decided to take the plunge and dive into another career.
And I am so thankful I did! It has allowed me to meet incredible people and help them too. I learn so much from the people around me and aim to stay connected so we can keep inspiring and teaching each other.
